When we suddenly and unexpectedly lost Allegro in 2002, we posted an extended memorial to the youngest of our little companions that, really, portrays of all three of them. You can look at that here. We also created a guest book. We have had to close the guest book because of all the spam and we will not be re-opening it; but you can see that here.  
And, then, almost five years later, we lost our oldest. And there don’t seem to be adequate words. So we’ll borrow some from another writer of greater distinction:

Now cracks a noble heart. Good night, sweet prince,
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!
